The current price list waives the counselling fee with a treatment contract or purchase of cosmetics, supplements or similar products of at least ¥5,500 including tax. Otherwise, the fee is ¥3,300. Confirm eligibility with the booking service.

Risks & considerations
Risks include pain, swelling, bruising, asymmetry, lumps, infection and allergy. Blood-vessel blockage can cause tissue death, vision loss including blindness, or stroke.
Tell the doctor about earlier fillers, areas and dates, surgery, allergies, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Confirm follow-up and emergency arrangements before treatment.
About the products (including devices unapproved in Japan)
This is a self-funded treatment and is not covered by public health insurance. Hyaluronic acid fillers are classified as medical devices in Japan. ATIELE (Classic / Intensive / Volume) is a medical device that is not approved in Japan. JUVÉDERM VISTA VOLUMA XC, VOLIFT XC and VOLBELLA XC are approved in Japan, but use in areas outside their approved indications (such as the nose, the tear-bag area under the eyes or the ears) is off-label use.
How they are obtained: ATIELE is imported personally from Korea under the responsibility of the doctor, with a Japanese company handling the procedures. The JUVÉDERM VISTA products are distributed through official channels in Japan.
Approved alternatives in Japan: hyaluronic acid fillers approved in Japan include the JUVÉDERM VISTA products (Allergan) listed on this page.
Overseas safety information: ATIELE is approved in Korea. Overseas authorities have warned that if a filler is accidentally injected into a blood vessel, it may cause skin damage and, in rare cases, vision problems or stroke-like symptoms. The efficacy and safety of ATIELE have not been confirmed through the Japanese approval review.
Relief system: the Japanese Relief System for Sufferers from Adverse Drug Reactions covers medicines. Medical devices, including hyaluronic acid fillers, are not covered.

Questions & answers
How many millilitres will I need?
This is not determined from a photo or self-assessment alone. A doctor considers your examination, goals and budget.
Can I discuss several areas together?
Yes, overall facial balance can be discussed. Whether several areas are treated on the same day is a medical decision.
Does the repeat-injection fee include the filler?
The ¥5,500 entry is a repeat-injection fee. Confirm eligibility and whether product or other fees are additional before treatment.
Is the lower-eyelid roll the same as the tear trough?
No. The technical-fee entry refers to the lower-eyelid roll (aegyo-sal), not all tear-trough or under-eye treatment. Confirm the exact area.
